Swing for Survivors

Swing for Survivors is a golf program that promotes wellness and helps cancer survivors. Golfers can play 36 holes at their favorite golf course anytime and receive gifts based on how much money they raise. It's great for the golfers because they don't have to schedule their life around a tournament date and it's great for golf courses because it brings in incremental income on off-peak days.

To kick off the Swing for Survivors program, I'll be golfing with program participants and speaking about wellness and cancer prevention at various courses throughout 2010.

Swing for Survivors benefits Marathon of Miracles' nonprofit wellness and cancer prevention outreach programs.

MOM operates the www.survivorcelebration.com social network, promotes healthy eating and fitness, creates inspirational and educational media such as music, TV and films, builds wellness gardens as living classrooms, provides assistance to survivors and more.

I'm looking for golfers and golf courses to participate with me to promote the launch of this program. Golfers get incredible gifts, courses get media recognition and survivors get helped! The people I personally golf with will receive bonus gifts and the added distinction of knowing that they will be part of the very foundation of everything we accomplish as an organization.

Golfers can donate their own money or raise funds from companies, family and friends. Golf courses can help by offering golfers special rates and other incentives such as a free round to be used on another day. It's a fun and convenient way for golfers to participate in the fight against cancer just by doing something they love with their friends. It's also a great way for golf courses to generate more business on slow days by offering special incentives for people to play 36 holes at their course.

FOR GOLFERS
Each golfer needs to raise a minimum of only $250. Individual golfers get prizes based on how much money they raise, including golf equipment, apparel, trips to top resorts and more! Each golfer will get special recognition on the Swing for Survivors website through the end of 2010.

FOR GOLF COURSES
Give golfers special deals and watch your business increase as you help the cause. In exchange for your generosity, we'll promote you on our website as a preferred golf course and special friend of Marathon of Miracles.

FOR SPONSORS
Simply donate products to the prize pool and promote the program with a link on your website, and we'll promote you on our website and in all promotions to prospective golfers and participants. It's a great way for you to give back without any hard cost to you except for supplying prizes. It's a great branding and cause marketing opportunity. We are looking for national and local sponsors. Of course, the more you can support on a national level, the more we can promote you to media and the golf world on a national level.
